We’re hiring lifeguards at the Bob Crane Community Center! 💦🙌 Whether you’re an early riser, prefer a midday shift or looking to work evenings, we’re seeking indoor lifeguards for all shifts.

Never been certified? No problem! Our next lifeguard class is coming up on September 17, 19 & 20, and we’ll cover the cost of certification for candidates who successfully complete the hiring process and are onboarded. 🎉

“In Pursuit of Happiness: UA Community Art Exhibit” offers a moment to reflect on an enduring American ideal: that individuals are entitled to seek meaning, fulfillment and opportunity in their own lives. Two hundred fifty years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence, this exhibition explores how that aspiration continues to shape our communities, relationships and lives. 🇺🇸

Visit the Concourse Gallery at 3600 Tremont Road now through September 11 to experience artwork from the UA community. The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.

The Bob Crane Community Center will be closed September 8-15 for its annual facility closure. 🚧

This planned closure gives our staff and crews dedicated time to complete deep cleaning, preventive maintenance, repairs, facility improvements and staff training—work that helps keep the Community Center clean, safe and ready for the busy indoor season ahead.

The Community Center will reopen Wednesday, September 16. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete this important work.

Open Swim is canceled Friday and Saturday due to limited staff availability. Our typical back-to-school schedule resumes Monday, August 31.

Friday, Aug. 28: 6:30-10:30 am | Lap Swim & Water Walking
Saturday, Aug. 29: 6:30-10:30 am | Lap Swim & Water Walking
Sunday, Aug. 30: 2-6 pm | Open Swim

Planning to visit Saturday? Cycle UA begins at 9:30 am at Northam Park and may impact traffic and parking. Please allow extra time and use caution around cyclists. 🚲

A UA tradition 60 years in the making! 💚 Since 1966, we’ve come together at the Labor Day Arts Festival to celebrate creativity and share the arts with our community. This Labor Day, more than 15,000 visitors will gather at Northam Park to explore the work of 120+ artists, enjoy live music and participate in hands-on art activities.

From paintings and pottery to jewelry, photography, sculpture and more, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. 🎨🎶
