To continue our 10-year celebration of Blueprint Columbus, we organized a replanting effort at Southside Settlement Heritage Park!

The park is home to the City’s pilot rain garden, first planted over a decade ago. Like any good pilot project, it gave us valuable insight into how rain gardens can be designed, planted and maintained to work as effectively as possible.

This replanting helps refresh the space and support the rain garden’s long-term health, so it can continue helping manage stormwater and support the neighborhood for years to come.
