The Ohio Narcotics Intelligence Center (ONIC) provides expert digital forensic examinations, criminal intelligence analysis, and case support for Ohio law enforcement in order to identify and disrupt the illicit drug market. ONIC facilitates information sharing and collaboration with law enforcement, addiction services and recovery organizations, and the public to reduce drug overdoses.

DeMario JONES was charged with Engaging in a Pattern of Corrupt Activity, Involuntary Manslaughter, Having Weapons While Under Disability. ONIC Intel and Forensics assisted Greene County Sheriff’s Office regarding a drug trafficking investigation. Ivan EVANS pled guilty to multiple charges including trafficking and possession of co***ne & was sentenced to 14 –16.5 years in prison.

Greene County Prosecuting Attorney David D. Hayes noted that he had an extensive criminal record before this case.

In 2025, DRVC North Intel disseminated a Multi-Source analysis product to the Toledo Police Department providing intelligence on a Murder for Hire investigation involving Timothy MURPHY.

In August 2026, MURPHY pled guilty (Alford Plea) to attempted murder, menacing by stalking, two counts of violating a protection order, and intimidation of an attorney, victim, or witness in a criminal case. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison, with a maximum of 15 years.

ONIC supported a Central HIDTA drug trafficking case resulting in Heidy VELASQUEZ CARDONA sentenced to 18-23.5 years and Carlos MARTINEZ VELASQUEZ sentenced to 17–22.5 years, both for first-degree trafficking.
