The division serves as the administrative arm of the State Board of EMS which is made up of medical, nu

rsing, hospital administration and EMS and Fire service professionals from around the state. As such, it is our responsibility and our duty to recognize, research, and recommend resolutions to all problems and situations that could prevent the individuals we certify from providing the best possible pre-hospital and fire prevention service to the citizens and visitors of our state.

The American Red Cross has declared an emergency blood shortage. Donors of all blood types — especially those with types O+ & B- blood — are needed to help reverse a dangerous drop in the Red Cross blood supply.

If you are eligible to donate, please consider making an appointment through RedCrossBlood.org, the Blood Donor App, or by calling 1-800-RED CROSS.
