6/8 Downtown Project Schedule & Updates

Stormwater – After being off island last week, JBI will be in the Downtown Parking Lot starting today and continuing throughout the week. There will be traffic control measures and limited parking so please keep that in mind when you are downtown! GO SLOW and BE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS!

Boat Ramps – Approaches to both ramps are being paved starting tomorrow and continuing over the course of two+ days. During paving, each ramp will be temporarily inaccessible. Please contact Kevin Hughes for more specifics: (207) 385-5588

General Update – As mentioned in our Monday notice, JBI is not doing any construction this week. We thank them for their ongoing work and appreciate everyone’s patience and kindness with the crew. We will have an update on their schedule by Friday.

Boat Ramps – Approaches to both ramps will be paved next week weather depending. Please be prepared for paving over the course of two+ days starting June 9. 5/29 11am Stormwater Update

JBI is currently excavating near the Fish Plant Boat Ramp but will be moving down to near Oakes / Coop area to dig this afternoon. There will be single lane traffic at that location while they are excavating. Please use caution!

5/28 Downtown Project Schedule & Updates

Stormwater System – JBI will continue with stormwater system work on West Main Street. Today they will be near the Fish Plant Boat Ramp area.

There will be one lane traffic throughout the day. Please keep this in mind as you travel to and from the ferry and use caution when traveling near the construction.
