💡 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆 — 𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄?

Rotary founder 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘀 wasn't actually the first President of the Rotary Club of Chicago — he was the 𝟯𝗿𝗱, serving in 1907. He is, however, the only person in Rotary history to serve as Rotary International President for 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿. 🙌

Over 120 years later, the organization he helped build now spans more than 45,000 clubs and 1.2 million members worldwide — including right here in Virginia Beach! 🌍

This Wednesday we're shining a spotlight on one of Hampton Roads' most impactful nonprofits! 🏠❤️

🎙️ 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟯𝗿𝗱 | 𝟳:𝟭𝟱𝗮𝗺 | 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗮𝗿
We welcome 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴, Chief Innovation Officer, and 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗹, Senior Grant Writer, from 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗞𝗶𝗱𝘀 — a Southeastern Virginia nonprofit dedicated to breaking the cycle of homelessness and poverty. Founded in 1988, ForKids now serves more than 70,000 individuals annually across 14 cities and counties, providing everything from emergency shelter and a Housing Crisis Hotline to education and economic mobility programs. This is a story worth hearing!
