Plaza Volunteer Rescue Squad Plaza Volunteer Rescue Squad - Station 16 The Plaza Volunteer Rescue Squad is one of ten all-volunteer Rescue Squads in the City of Virginia Beach.

Our VOLUNTEER Rescue Squad responds to any emergency medical dispatch within the 248 square miles of our city limits free of charge. We serve approximately 440,484 Virginia Beach citizens as well as the thousands from neighboring cities who work and visit each day in addition to the nearly 6 million overnight tourists who visit our city annually. Plaza Volunteer Rescue Squad is extremely thankful for the community who supports its volunteers and ability to maintain four ALS equipped ambulances.

Having a clean house is just as important as having a clean truck. Today, the members got together under the direction of our Station Improvement Chair, Brandon C, and we did a deep spring clean of our home away from home. With the music playing and non-stop laughter, we got our tasks done and are now ready to continue enjoying this beautiful weather.
