Plaza Volunteer Rescue Squad - Station 16 The Plaza Volunteer Rescue Squad is one of ten all-volunteer Rescue Squads in the City of Virginia Beach.
(1)

Our VOLUNTEER Rescue Squad responds to any emergency medical dispatch within the 248 square miles of our city limits free of charge. We serve approximately 440,484 Virginia Beach citizens as well as the thousands from neighboring cities who work and visit each day in addition to the nearly 6 million overnight tourists who visit our city annually. Plaza Volunteer Rescue Squad is extremely thankful for the community who supports its volunteers and ability to maintain four ALS equipped ambulances.

Last night the monsters, princesses, Demon Hunters, and blow up dinosaurs for Rosemont Elementary got a scary good treat. Ambulance 1624 dressed up for their trunk or treat!

Ambulance 1624 is our brand new ambulance that will be officially put into service very soon. Our supply and maintenance teams have put in the hours to get this truck ready to service the citizens of Virginia Beach!

Want a closer peak? 1624 will be sitting at the station for our Safe Haven event tomorrow night! You don’t want to miss it!

If you’re interested in Plaza Supporter gear, shoot us a message and we can arrange that.

🚨 SCAM ALERT 🚨 Fraudulent posts are circulating claiming to sell Virginia Beach EMS T‑shirts. These posts are not authorized, and VBEMS has not granted permission for its logo to be used on any merchandise sold online.
