They call her "Pockets," the way she's always collecting little things on her nature walks.

That's Paula Swasko, of course, who joined us this week with baskets of nature's treasures and taught us how to make nature boxes. Big thanks to Paula "Pockets" and everyone who showed up for the fun!

Did you know you can take a bus between Viroqua and La Crosse?

Obbie and RoZ and a contingent from the La Crosse Transit Advocates visited us in Viroqua the SMRT way this week. They joined McIntosh Memorial Library and Vernon County Over 50 to deliver their presentation: Transportation Liberation.

T-Minus 9 days until our Dairy Days: Barnyard Bash! Open to all ages, join us at the Viroqua Courthouse Lawn to celebrate Wisconsin Dairy Month with a petting zoo! Check out our adorable farmyard friends who will be there with us, including a horse, cow, baby cow, puppy, and lambs! This event is on Saturday, June 20 from 10am-12pm.

Calling all teens! Happening tomorrow (06/12) from 4-5pm is Be Kind, Be You: A Teen Pride Social. Open to ages 14-18, teens of all orientations are welcome to come and socialize, enjoy some snacks, and make new friends in this library-led, kindness focused, safe space event. We hope to see you there!
