We have 3 schools serving over 1,300 Students: Jefferson School, Frank W. ents are encouraged to participate in the vast range of co-curricular programs (i.e. student government, journalism, drama, athletics, music, clubs, Academic Decathlon, etc.). There is a strong connection between the school and community as evidenced by Parent-Teacher groups: the PTA at the elementary level, and the Home & School Organization at the secondary school level. The school district promotes traditional values important to the community- Loyalty, Family, Patriotism, and Tolerance towards others.

Join us as we celebrate Wallington’s 250th Celebration with a fun-filled Patriotic Parade on Saturday, June 20th! We are inviting residents, families, teams, organizations, clubs, businesses, and community groups to march and show off their community spirit.

Decorate your bikes, wagons, strollers, golf carts, or floats in red, white, and blue or dress up in patriotic or historical-themed costumes! Whether you want to walk with friends, represent an organization, or create a festive float, we would love to have you participate.

Parade begins at 5:00 PM
Community Picnic at 6:00 PM
Fireworks at 9:30 PM

Prizes will be awarded for best entries!
There is no cost to participate, but all groups and participants must register in advance.
Please share with friends, family, teams, and local organizations to help make this a memorable community event for everyone!

Due to an issue with an air conditioning unit at Wallington Junior-Senior High School and the forecasted extreme temperature the students at the Wallington Junior-Senior High School will operate on a single-session schedule tomorrow, Tuesday May 19th. We are actively addressing the air conditioning problem. Please note that Jefferson School and Gavlak School will operate on their regular schedules. Thank you and have a good evening.
