The Warren Police Department is currently investigating the report of a missing person as identified by family members. On 08-18-2026, family contacted police expressing concern for the whereabouts of their loved one.

The female, identified as Lové Denyse Taylor, was last spoken to on August 11th, 2026, and has not been heard from since. This is reported as highly unusual behavior that has given family tremendous concern for her well-being.

Family has provided a current photograph, and her known physical characteristics are outlined below. Additionally, Ms. Taylor has a tattoo that may support any possible identification. The tattoo is described as a heart-shaped yin-yang symbol and is located on her chest centered below her neckline.

If you have any information regarding Ms. Taylor’s location or have seen her more recently, please contact the Warren Police Department CID Tip Line.

On August 22, 2026, Michael Stroup was reported missing. He was last seen on August 21, 2026, at approximately 4 p.m. in the area of West Market Street and Lovers Lane SW. Michael is 37 years old, between 5'10" and 5'11", weighing approximately 300 to 340 lbs, and currently has a full beard. Michael is legally blind, and per his family may appear disoriented. Anyone with information about Michael's locations is asked to contact the Trumbull County 911 Center at 330-841-2512.

WARREN POLICE DEPARTMENT
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

On Thursday, August 20th, 2026, the Warren Police Department's Street Crimes Unit (SCU), in conjunction with the Warren Tactical Entry Team executed a search warrant on Ferndale Ave SW. This action marks the culmination of an intensive investigation into suspected narcotics activity at the location.

During the search, detectives recovered suspected illegal narcotics including an abundance of crack co***ne (135g). Three handguns were also recovered along with drug paraphernalia.

A suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Trumbull County Jail for processing. Charges related to the seized items will be filed pending laboratory results from the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI).

This action marks the culmination of an intensive investigation into suspected narcotics activity at the location.

During the search, detectives recovered suspected illegal narcotics including crack co***ne, he**in, and fentanyl. A bulletproof vest, crossbow and five handguns were also recovered along with drug paraphernalia.

Suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Trumbull County Jail for processing. Charges related to the seized items will be filed pending laboratory results from the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI).

The Warren Police Department responded to the 1500 block of Parkman Rd Nw in reference to a shooting. On scene officers located one male with a gunshot wound. This individual was transported to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital for further medical treatment.

The Warren Police Department responded to the 600 block of Ohio Ave Nw in reference to a shooting. On scene officers located one male with multiple gunshot wounds. This individual was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital for further medical treatment.

The Warren Police Department is asking for public assistance with identifying the suspect observed in the posted photos made from security video at Lowe’s (940 Niles Cortland Rd SE). The unknown suspect stole $919.96 worth of merchandise from the store on 7/14/2026. Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect is asked to call Detective Ritchie at 330-841-2651, or the Anonymous Tip Line at 330-841-2914.
