The Warren Police Department responded to the 2200 block of S Feederle Dr Se in response to a stabbing. On scene officers located one victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to Mercy Health — Eastland for further medical treatment where he was later pronounced deceased.

A suspect, Nazeer Buckley, was arrested at the scene and booked into the Trumbull County Jail.

On April 17, 2026 at 1148 hours, the Warren Police Department was dispatched to 1314 Highland Ave SW in reference to a shooting. When officers arrived, a gunshot victim was located and transported to a local hospital for treatment. A female was taken for questioning and later arrested for felonious assault and transported to Trumbull County Jail. This is an ongoing investigation. The Warren Police Department is asking anyone with information to contact Detective Sergeant Michael Altiere at 330-841-2749.

On April 14, 2026 just before 0200 hours, officers with the Warren Police Department were dispatched to the 2200 Block of Northwest Blvd NW in reference to shots being fired. When officers arrived, two shooting victims were located and transported to St. Joe’s in Warren for treatment. This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone that has any information is being asked to contact Detective Sergeant Mike Altiere at 330-841-2749. Information can also be provided anonymously to the WPD tip line.

The Warren Police Department is asking for public assistance with identifying the suspects observed in the posted photos made from security video at Best Buy in Mayfield Heights, OH. The unknown suspects are involved in a string of purchases using a stolen debit card. Anyone with information regarding the identities of the suspects is asked to call Detective Greaver at 330-841-2723.

The City of Warren Police Department is looking for qualified individuals to join our team as a full-time police officer for the City of Warren, OH. If you believe you have what it takes, we invite you to apply to be part of our ranks!

A $10,000 Bonus Installment and Full Reimbursement for OPOTA (Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy) coursework and certification are available in exchange for a 5-year employment commitment with the City of Warren.

Potential and interested candidates with no law enforcement experience are encouraged to apply. The Warren Police Department’s new Cadet Program is designed for applicants who have not attended a police academy. If accepted into the program, the Warren Police Department will not only pay for the academy, but candidates will be paid while attending.

Candidates who are accepted into the Cadet Program will also be afforded the opportunity to accept the $10,000 Bonus Installment upon completion of the academy.

On 02/11/2026 at approximately 2308 hours, officers of the Warren Police Department responded to a call of shots being fired in the area of 1377 Mahoning Ave NW. WPD officers arrived and secured the crime scene surrounding the apartment complex. One juvenile male victim was located in the parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound. EMT Ambulance transported this juvenile to St. Joseph Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. At approximately 0720 hours on 02/12/2026, several suspects were detained and later questioned. A search warrant was obtained for an apartment inside the complex where evidence was recovered. Two suspects from Warren, Ashaud Duane Lee Johnson, 18, and Willis Leroy Smith IV, 18, were both arrested for Murder and booked into the Trumbull County Jail. Additional charges may be filed once detectives consult with prosecutors.
