CRT Awareness Week is September 14–18!

This annual initiative brings the CRT community together to highlight the important role Complex Rehab Technology plays in the lives of individuals who rely on specialized equipment and services.

This year, the industry is also continuing advocacy efforts to advance the Choices for Increased Mobility Act (S. 247), which would allow consumers to choose the wheelchair frame type that best fits their lifestyle and medical needs.

AAHomecare’s Medical Supplies Council is welcoming JJ Pistoor, chief revenue officer of Geriatric Medical and DDP Medical Supply, as its new Chair.

As AAHomecare’s largest open council, the Medical Supplies Council brings suppliers and manufacturers together to collaborate on issues impacting disposable medical supplies, including Competitive Bidding, payer changes, audits and rejections, and more.

“Volunteer leaders are so important to our open councils. As the staff liaison for Medical Supplies Council, I have enjoyed working with JJ on many of the work groups and projects. I’m excited for this next chapter as a council!” said Stephanie Legree, AAHomecare project manager.
