No Child Should Feel Embarrassed on the First Day of School.

For many children in underserved communities, starting a new school year with worn-out backpacks or missing school supplies can affect their confidence and leave them feeling isolated from their classmates.

Sahara Programs is working to change that.

$15 provides essential school supplies for 1 child.
$75 provides supplies for 5 children.
$150 provides supplies for 10 children.

📢 Sahara Programs DMV is excited to announce the launch of our FREE Community Health Fair in partnership with STEP and Madina Islamic Center!

Beginning this month, we will be offering free health consultations, blood pressure and diabetes screenings, mental health support, medication counseling, health insurance guidance, and referrals to community resources for individuals and families in need.

This initiative is designed to serve uninsured and underinsured individuals, seniors, refugees, new arrivals, and community members seeking access to quality healthcare and support services.

🌙✨ Bringing Eid Joys to Families in Need ✨🌙

Alhamdulillah, through the generosity of our donors and community partners, Sahara Programs successfully distributed Qurbani meat to 120 deserving families across Alexandria, Lorton, Woodbridge, Fredericksburg, and Stafford, helping bring the blessings and joy of Eid-ul-Adha to those who need it most.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to UMCA USA and NOVA RAFT for their unwavering support and partnership in making this effort possible.

Most importantly, a huge thank you to all our generous donors whose compassion and sacrifice made a direct impact on families in our community. May Allah (SWT) accept your Qurbani, bless your wealth, and reward you abundantly.
