Proud to have secured $850,000 for the Winters Joint Unified School District. This funding will support the school district in modernizing its agriculture site and completing a deferred maintenance project. The agriculture site is a vital hub for agricultural education and workforce development, offering hands-on training in welding, woodworking, floral design, livestock management, and more. Since 2014, this incredible effort has raised over $900,000 to fund critical research and support services for the nearly one million Americans living with Multiple Sclerosis. Proud to join Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi, Representative Zoe Lofgren, and local leaders to discuss the landmark 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act. This legislation addresses the national housing crisis from every angle: encouraging more home building, accelerating permitting, making modular homes more affordable, expanding financing to build housing, and helping communities rebuild following disasters. This was a major milestone, and I'll continue to work to build on this success to ensure that everyone has access to a safe, affordable roof over their head.
