New data from the IRS is shocking:

1️⃣ Nearly 1,000 tax filers who earn over $1 million in income have not filed taxes in at least one year from 2017-2020
2️⃣ The 2,000 of the highest earners owe more than $900 million in unpaid taxes.

A new poll from The 19th News shows that 82 percent of the American people want to keep guns out of the hands of people convicted of domestic violence.

As SCOTUS prepares to hear the Rahimi case on this issue, we must ensure that survivors of domestic violence are not put into further dangerous positions because of extremist judges who put ideology over the safety of Americans.

The students at Rancho Cotate High School have come together to paint a new mural at the school entitled “Native Us” which showcases Latin American culture and history.

The Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument is a beautiful region in our area that I was proud to help designate as national monument. This weekend, I welcomed Secretary Deb Haaland to our district to tour the National Monument and see the proposed expansion I am leading with Congressman John Garamendi and Senator Alex Padilla.

I look forward to working with our local, state, and federal partners to ensure that this land, home to the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation and other tribes, is protected for generations to come.

There are nearly 600,000 DACA recipients in the US. They are teachers, doctors, law enforcement officers, servicemembers and small business owners.

DACA recipients deserve clarity in their future, and we must provide a clear path to citizenship for these hard-working individuals who call the United States home.

Despite more than a decade of political and legal attacks, nearly 600,000 people are still receiving the benefits of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, renewing their DACA designations in two-year increments.

The Duck Stamp Modernization Act provides an E-stamp option to anyone who wants to purchase a duck stamp. This bill will help to increase revenue used for conservation and protect our lands for public use.

Held a Gun Violence Prevention Task Force meeting in the Capitol today to discuss gun violence prevention legislation and to hear from gun violence prevention groups on a provision in the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act which will reduce the number of guns sold online or at gun shows without background checks.

🚨 Heads up, Rohnert Park and Cotati. Today at 4pm, there will be an evacuation drill throughout the City of Rohnert Park starting at 4pm and it will last for about 15 minutes.

During the drill, Rohnert Park Public Safety Officers will be driving throughout the City of Rohnert Park using Hi-Lo sirens equipped in their patrol vehicles.

Children deserve to feel safe at schools and libraries, and these threats of violence have no place in our community. Over 600 people came out to support farm-to-school projects throughout our community and help to raise awareness about the outstanding agriculture in our community.
