We were honored to celebrate an amazing Ribbon Cutting & Key Ceremony for our newest home in Oakland with the Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce

This project represents what makes our community so special.

🏠 Over 3,000 volunteer hours
🏠 2.5 years of hard work
🏠 Support from countless businesses, partners, and volunteers

All coming together to help a deserving family to become homeowners.

At Waterville Area Habitat for Humanity, this is what it’s all about. This family put in over 300 hours of their own work and now hold the keys AND their mortgage to their new home.

👏 Huge thank you to:
• Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce for helping host the ribbon cutting
• Our Construction Coordinator Skip Pratt and all the volunteers who made this build possible
• Every sponsor, donor, business partner, and community member who showed up, gave, and supported

Big Announcement! 📣 We are excited to announce that we’ve officially moved our offices and have a new location right next to The Finery Formal Wear and The Robin's Nest on KMD!

This move allows us to reduce costs and better serve our community by expanding how we accept and distribute donations. We will now be offering fixtures, appliances, and furniture to local families through online, by appointment, and during upcoming yard sale days.

This transition is also an important step as we work toward bringing back a Habitat ReStore to the Waterville area in the near future.

We’re proud to share that we’ve just completed another home build with Ribbon Cutting and key ceremony on March 31st in Oakland, with a family preparing to move in. Looking ahead, we have several projects planned, including accessibility ramps, such as one for the Waterville Area Soup Kitchen and additional home repair initiatives.
