On Wednesday, September 2nd, Mid-Maine Chamber travels to Wings Custom Apparel in China to celebrate their new showroom and the 1 year anniversary with new owners, Charlie and Julie Wing!

There will be snacks, refreshments, and a party tent in case the weather decides not to cooperate.

If you’ve ever heard Maine Department of Corrections Commissioner Randy Liberty speak about the positive things happening within Maine’s correctional system, then you know how amazing today's Leadership Luncheon was.

Commissioner Liberty has a way of telling a story that pulls you in. Today, he shared bits of his own leadership journey while giving attendees a look at how Maine is approaching corrections differently - with a focus on rehabilitation, education, workforce development, accountability, and preparing individuals for successful lives after incarceration.

It was a powerful reminder that leadership isn’t always about taking the easiest path. Sometimes it means challenging the way things have always been done, believing people are capable of change, and creating opportunities for them to prove it.

Thank you, Commissioner Liberty, for an incredibly engaging and thought-provoking afternoon, and thank you to everyone who joined Mid-Maine Chamber and KV Connect at Amici's Cucina.

Mid-Maine Chamber visited Fireside Inn & Suites Waterville recently, where we had the chance to visit with David, Julia, and Lisa to learn more about the welcoming hospitality and experiences they provide to guests in our community.
