Purpose
The Clark School Parent-Teacher Organization’s (PTO) purpose is to help provide a creative school environment for the children and staff that encourages academic excellence and fosters sch

ool pride so that staff and parents may cooperate to a greater extent in the development and education of the child. This includes promoting constructive communication which fosters the highest quality of education, fellowship among members, and bringing a closer relationship between home and school. Guidelines
The PTO utilizes multiple outlets to communicate with the Clark Community. This includes the use of online forums and social media. These communication channels were created to share information and spread cheer, kindness, and appreciation for the Clark Community. All Clark Community Members are encouraged to participate in PTO activities that promote constructive communication and positivity in alignment with our purpose. The PTO has outlined the following guidelines and community standards to ensure the communications on our platforms are consistent with our organization’s priorities:

Be Kind and Courteous: Membership of the PTO is open to all who subscribe to the purposes and objectives of this organization. We strive to promote a welcoming environment that builds relationships and prioritizes kindness, positivity, and respect within the Clark Community. We ask that you join conversations with the intention to facilitate respectful and courteous commentary. No Hate Speech or Bullying: It is important that we facilitate an inclusive environment to ensure our community feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated. No Promotions or Spam: Utilizing the PTO platforms for self-promotion, spam or sharing irrelevant links are not permitted. Respect Everyone's Privacy: The PTO discourages sharing sensitive or private information. This includes the publication of personal information without consent, and publication of member information outside of reasons that do not support the purposes of the PTO. Resolution Process
The PTO Executive Board will moderate our online forums and social media to ensure content is aligned with our purpose. We will respond to requests from members who raise concerns regarding content. We kindly ask that members refrain from activities that do not align with guidelines and direct all concerns/comments/ideas to the PTO Executive Board via email ([email protected]) or in-person at a general meeting. Clark Elementary is doing a Jump Rope Challenge for the American Heart Association’s Kids Heart Challenge. We have a goal to raise $1500!

By participating in Kids Heart Challenge, our students will learn how to keep their hearts, bodies and brains healthy while helping kids with special hearts live longer, healthier lives.

It's a fun and meaningful way for our students to learn lifelong habits of health and helping others, while supporting and earning rewards for our school.

Join us in spreading kindness, building healthy habits, and making a lasting difference. Together, we can create a healthier future, one heart at a time.
