The Lower Macungie Fire Department consists of 3 stations and over 65 dedicated men and women. The Lower Macungie Fire Department proudly protects over 38,000 people living in an area of 24 square miles. We are a 100% Volunteer Department responding between 550– 650 calls a year. Thank you to our family, friends, and community that support us in our efforts to serve the Boroughs of Alburtis, Macungie, and Lower Macungie Township with professional service and pride.

At tonight's meeting, The Macungie Ambulance Corp did an amazing job, recognizing the many volunteer Paremedics, members of our Lower Macungie Fire Department and members of our Alburtis Social Club president Scot Smith and his team for their incredible actions to help save one of our community members life during a cardiac emergency.

Thank you all for your service, volunteering and helping to keep our community safe. You are all appreciated more than you will ever know and we are grateful to have you part of our community.

Also a huge thank you to the Alburtis Social Hall and it's team for creating and sponsoring the free CPR classes that filled quickly that will allow the participants to learn life saving skills and be certified. Your commitment to our communtiy through your ongoing contributions and service is greatly appreciated.

Again, congratulations to all and we thank you.
