Don't look now, but there's a monster hiding in your plumbing — and you're probably helping it get bigger every day!

When you send 𝘧𝘢𝘵𝘴, 𝘰𝘪𝘭, 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘸𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦 down the drain, it doesn't just wash away — it sticks to the sides of pipes, gums up waste traps and bends in plumbing, and causes clogs and disgusting wastewater backups.

Even small amounts of 𝐅.𝐎.𝐆. can build up inside wastewater systems and cause big problems.

𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙.𝗢.𝗚. 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻:

• Wait until used cooking oil cools, then pour it into bottles or other sealable containers for re-use (or toss it in the trash).

• Ensure that any waste meat, grease, dairy and baked goods get scraped into the trash, not the garbage disposal in your sink.

🧌 There's a monster lurking in your plumbing ... and there's a very good chance you're feeding it exactly what it needs to grow!

𝗙.𝗢.𝗚. (fats, oil, and grease) can wreak havoc on wastewater systems.

It sticks to the sides of pipes, gums up waste traps and bends in plumbing, and causes clogs and disgusting wastewater backups.

Worse, when it makes its way into sewer mains, 𝗙.𝗢.𝗚. can form gigantic “𝗳𝗮𝘁𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘀” that cause expensive, messy problems including sewer backups and equipment failures.

The solution, however, is simple: 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘳 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘢𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘰𝘪𝘭, 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘸𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦.
