Due to a high volume of requests for a weekend exam, The LRGV Academy will be hosting a testing date this Saturday, June 27th. This exam will be for our upcoming full-time police academy which will be hosted at the Mission Police Department.

Lower Rio Grande Valley Academy was honored to attend the City of Elsa Police Department fallen officer ceremony.

LRGV Academy Director Javier Solis was invited as the keynote speaker. It was a great honor and a humbling experience to deliver the day's remarks.

Thank you Elsa Chief of Police Robert Mkginnis for the invitation. We appreciate your hard work and leadership.

We also thank the families that attended and we salute and honor those that have fallen in the line of duty.

Thank you to all those who wear the badge as a symbol of trust. Thank you for holding the thin blue line.

Lower Rio Grande Valley Academy had the honor and privilege of attending the City of Mission - Government annual fallen officer ceremony.

We thank Chief Cesar Torres from the Mission Police Department for the invitation. We thank all our law enforcement officers who risk and sacrifice everyday to keep us safe.

We honor all officers who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in defense of freedom, peace, and public safety. We also pay respect to the families of those fallen officers. We pray for all of them and remind them that their lost loved ones will never be forgotten.
