Tomorrow is the first youth fishing derby of 2026. Join us for a fun-filled start to Father's Day. Come out to Krazy Glue at 10am with your family, poles, and chairs. We'll supply the bait. Some complimentary fishing poles are avaliable, while they last, thanks to support from Ohio Department of Natural Resources. Donuts and coffee were graciously donated by The Daily Buzz - West Jefferson. Volunteers for the day were coordinated by The Lending Tackle Box at Madison Lake.

Yesterday's Lunch and Learn was a big splash! A special shout out to Todds Pizza-West Jefferson, Ohio for treating us like VIP. After lunch we watched and participated in a water safety demonstration with Jefferson Township Fire Department (Madison County, Ohio). A huge thank you to both of them for supporting our program.

This Sunday is the first youth fishing derby of 2026. Join us for a fun-filled start to Father's Day. Bring your pole and chair, and we'll supply the bait. Some poles and other gear are avaliable while they last. We are very grateful for the support from The Daily Buzz - West Jefferson, The Lending Tackle Box at Madison Lake, & Ohio Department of Natural Resources.

Mark you calenders now for July 17th. July's Friday Night Uptown will host water fun for the children. Our Short Years and Lake Effect will keep the music flowing all night. Food, drinks and dessert truck planned for the event are The Dirty Fizz, Shake It Up Lemonades, M&M DOS Tacos, The Rolling Dutchman Donut Truck, L-Town Pizza Cones, Whit’s Frozen Custard of West Jefferson, and Dreia's kitchen. West Jefferson Police Department will be on site to fill a cruiser with donated school supplies for this year's Cram the Cruiser initiative. Local community organizations will also be joining us to fundraise and share information.

Join us 11:30am -1pm every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday until August 7th for West Jefferson's Lunch and Learn program, at 230 Cemetery Rd *unless noted below. Each session will begin with a free lunch and conclude with a STEAM activity for youth under 18 and their caregiver (unless the child is self-sufficient).

Monday's lunch is pulled pork sliders, macaroni and cheese, corn on the cob, and fruit. A unique Father's Day card making activity is planned.

Tuesday's lunch is buffalo chicken dip with chips and vegetables along side whipped fruit dip and a variety of fruits. COSI will be joining us for another fun afternoon of hands on learning!

Thursday's lunch is pizza, applesauce, fresh vegetables, and a surprise dessert. *Meet us at West Jefferson Municipal Pool(45 Inwood Dr.) for lunch and a water safety demonstration from Jefferson Township Fire Department (Madison County, Ohio). Come prepared to swim, all in attendance receive complimentary pool admission for the buisness day of Thursday, June 18th.
