We are incredibly grateful to the Wimberley Community Civic Club for their generous support of Barnabas Connection and our upcoming Back-to-School Fiesta!
Thanks to community partners like the Civic Club, we are able to help local students and families start the school year with confidence by providing backpacks, school supplies, community resources, and support services to hundreds of children across our community.
We are especially excited to celebrate alongside an organization that continues to make such a meaningful investment in the Wimberley Valley. This year, the Civic Club awarded a record-breaking $115,000 in grants and scholarships to local nonprofits and students — an incredible reflection of their commitment to strengthening our community.
Thank you for believing in the mission of Barnabas and for helping us ensure every child has the tools they need to succeed this school year. We are honored to be one of the organizations supported through your generosity. ❤️📚✏️

Civic Club invests $115,000 in the community
In what amounts to be the largest investment in their history, the Wimberley Community Civic Club granted $65,000 to 25 local organizations and $50,000 in scholarships to 17 high school graduates.
“It is an honor to continue giving back to many deserving local non-profits and students. This year, we were able to give back $115,000 which is a record for our organization,” said Alicia Dedman, Grants Committee Chair.
