🥎SURPRISE! WE’RE RUNNING THE CONCESSION STAND THIS WEEKEND! 🌭

A little last-minute Labor Day weekend adventure! 😂 We’ll be serving up food and drinks at the Labor Day Softball Tournament starting TONIGHT and going through Monday!

And these are gonna be some LONG softball nights! We’re planning to stay open until around midnight–1 AM (or later if the games are still going!) and get things going again in the mornings! 🙌

🍳 We will also be whipping up a nice breakfast on Saturday!!!

Behind every number is a person. A family. Friends. A story that mattered.

During Su***de Prevention Awareness Month and National Recovery Month, we have to keep having the conversations that are uncomfortable. Mental health, addiction, recovery and su***de are deeply connected for so many people — and silence and stigma only make it harder to ask for help.

I share pieces of my story because I know what it means to need hope. And I know today that recovery IS possible. A different life IS possible. 🤍💜

At New Roots Recovery Village, that’s exactly what we’re working to build — a place where women can find stability, rebuild their lives, reconnect with their purpose, and know they don’t have to do it alone.

This Recovery Month, we celebrate every person in recovery, every family walking beside them, every peer who reaches back to help someone else, and every community member helping break the stigma.

Because recovery is possible — and recovery happens together. 💜

🤍💜 SEPTEMBER IS A MONTH OF HOPE, RECOVERY & PREVENTION.💜🤍

As we begin September, New Roots Recovery Village is proud to recognize Su***de Prevention Month and National Recovery Month.

This month is about more than awareness. It’s about having conversations that can save lives, breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and substance use, celebrating recovery, remembering those we’ve lost, and reminding people who are struggling that help and hope are still here.

On September 8, we’ll recognize 988 Day, and this year’s theme says something we believe deeply:

“988 Reasons: Your reason is reason enough.”
You do NOT have to wait until things become unbearable to ask for help. Whatever you’re facing—big or small—your reason for reaching out is enough.

📱 Call or text 988 for the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline, available 24/7.

And throughout September, we’ll continue sharing resources, education, encouragement, and ways our community can help break the stigma.

Then on September 26, we’re bringing that message right into the heart of our community with New Roots Recovery Village’s Break the Stigma Overdose & Recovery Awareness Event in downtown Wi******er. 💜
