🚨 Could Your Neighbor Count on You? 🚨

When emergencies happen, the first people to make a difference are often not firefighters, police officers, or paramedics—they're neighbors helping neighbors.

That's exactly what the Windsor Locks Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is all about.

As a CERT volunteer, you'll receive free training in disaster preparedness, fire safety, light search and rescue, first aid, emergency communications, and more. You'll also have opportunities to assist at community events, support emergency operations during storms and other incidents, and help make Windsor Locks a safer, more resilient community.

You don't need previous emergency services experience—just a willingness to learn and a desire to serve your community. Our members come from all walks of life, and every volunteer brings valuable skills to the team.

Whether you're looking for a meaningful way to give back, learn new skills, or meet people who share a commitment to community service, CERT has a place for you.

💙 Be prepared. Be involved. Be the difference when your community needs you most.

Interested in learning more? Visit the Windsor Locks CERT table at our community events, contact the Windsor Locks Office of Emergency Management, or send us a message. We'd love to welcome you to the team!
