Our upcoming Preservation Station Demo has been rescheduled. Join us to discover how you can preserve and digitize your treasured memories, including VHS tapes, 8mm film, vinyl records, photo negatives, cassette tapes, and more.

📍 Location: Genealogy & Local History Department, Wooster Main Library

This Throwback Thursday, we’re stepping back to the early 1960s—when library staff loaded the Bookmobile through the basement windows of the Carnegie building! 🚎📚
The Bookmobile brought books to schools and rural communities across the county, delivering essential services where they were needed most.
We may load the buses a bit differently these days, but our commitment to serving our community remains just as strong. ❤️

The Library will be holding a surplus equipment "silent" auction featuring a variety of used library furnishings, shelving, and equipment. Bids will be accepted in person at the Main Library in Wooster (220 W. Liberty Street) from 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, through noon on Friday, May 29. Winning bidders will be contacted Friday afternoon after bids close. Items must be picked up on Friday, or arrangements for pickup must be made at that time.
Please note that library staff are unable to provide information regarding the auction items or current bids.
