📚❤️ Shoutout to The Mascot Syndicate in Millersburg!

They’re donating 9.25% of every book sale and officially licensed Dolly Parton merchandise to our local Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library!

United Way Wayne & Holmes Counties is proud to be the local program partner bringing free books each month to more than 6,100 children across our two counties!

Stop in, find your next great read, and support a local business helping our youngest readers grow! 📚✨

In case you missed the announcement before … The Syndicate will now be donating 9.25% of EVERY book sold (not just Dolly’s) to the local chapter of her Imagination Library. Which in our area is administered by the United Way of Wayne & Holmes counties. This includes in store AND online sales. ALSO 9.25% from any Dolly merch (which is all officially licensed.) Donation will be made once a month for the previous month’s purchases, and should it somehow happen that one month we sell no(!!!) books or Dolly merch, we’ll make their minimum suggested donation of $9.25 that month. Thank you, Dolly, for starting this wonderful gift that keeps giving … we hope to help even this little amount we can give ❤️

🍂SEASONS OF CARING🍁
It’s pretty special when people come together to take care of the place and people they call home. 💚

More than 30 Holmes-Wayne Electric Cooperative volunteers spent this morning at West View Healthy Living in Wooster, tending to outdoor courtyards and touching up paint to make things a little brighter ✨ for local seniors and the people who care for them every day.

We love seeing local businesses roll up their sleeves and give their time to help others. It’s these acts of kindness, caring for our seniors, and showing up for local nonprofits that make our communities stronger.

Thank you, HWEC!
