CASA Project Worcester County We advocate for and support foster youth as they navigate the juvenile court system.

CASA Project Worcester County, a member of the National CASA Association, recruits, screens, and trains community volunteers to become Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), also known as Guardians ad Litem (GAL). Appointed by judges to help on the most heart-breaking cases in the foster care system, CASAs help abused and neglected children navigate the Worcester County Juvenile Courts, one child or sibling group at a time.

CASA Project Worcester County is thankful for Governor Maura Healey, Worcester County's State Senators Senator Robyn Kennedy and Senator Mike Moore, lead Senate sponsor of the Foster Child Bill of Rights legislation, Senator Jo Comerford, and every other legislator and advocate who helped pass this vital child welfare bill.
Every child in the foster care system deserves to feel safe, protected, and heard. We will continue to work closely with our legislators to ensure that our laws, policies, and systems uphold the rights of children and provide the protections they need to thrive.
