Donations for Wrangell Senior Cetenter:
Wrangell Senior Center is in need of donations:
Food donations of fish, hooligan locally harvested berries, seaweed venison meat, liver/ heart.

WE will begin BINGO in November! We are hoping to offer this 1x a week.
Bingo prizes we are looking for: socks, self-care items, coffee mugs, earrings, candys, puzzle books, note pads, candies, teas, coffee, key chains, magnets, picture frames or hats/ gloves. These sorts of items would be greatly appreciated.

Helping Seniors Stay Connected

We’re proud to announce that the Wrangell Senior Center has received a Member Impact Fund grant through our partnership with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines, bringing the total combined contribution from First Bank and FHLB Des Moines to $8,750.

The Wrangell Senior Center provides essential services and a welcoming gathering place for seniors age 60 and older in the community.

Through congregate meals, home-delivered meals, transportation services, and social and cultural activities, the center helps seniors remain connected, supported, and engaged while promoting health and wellbeing.

This funding will help support these important programs and ensure local seniors continue to have access to meals, transportation, and opportunities for social connection

As a member institution, First Bank was honored to partner with FHLB Des Moines to help deliver this funding and support seniors in the Wrangell community.

Congratulations to the Wrangell Senior Center and thank you for the meaningful impact you make throughout the community!

NOTICE: The street that aligns with our main entrance is currently blocked due to street repair.

We are excited for this to be happpening, We want to let folks know that our entrance on the other end of the building (on the corner) will now be the entrance for the time being.

PLEASE NOTE: These stair are cemement and not wheelchair friendly. These stairs are a little uneven to the door entrance.
PLEASE WALK CARFULLY as you enter the building.

We will keep you updated as we will be having other changes occure in the building.

We will do our best to keep services running as smooth as possible.

Hello Folks, Wrangell Senior Center is short staffed this week. We will have no van rides or HDM deliveries available until Thursday.
Lunch pick up is available with reservation and we are open to inhouse dining.
