A group from Washtenaw County Community Mental Health went to Lansing early to meet with Representative Kathy Schmaltz and make their voices heard. Thanks to Concannon Meliss for making that possible!

We had 30+ from Washtenaw County, including some from Fresh Start Clubhouse and several car loads of people. We had a picnic on the pavement and safe travels for all, there & back again. Thanks to all our drivers and to everyone who let their voices be heard by our leaders.

It was great to see folks from others in our region: people from Livingston, Lenawee, and Monroe and their respective CMHs.

Let’s protect and improve the public mental health support system!
