Two days of anime, comics, gaming, cosplay, panels, vendors, special guests and all things pop culture are taking over the Yuma Civic Center.

🚨 SCAM ALERT — PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS, YUMA!

We’ve recently been made aware of a scam involving someone claiming to represent or be associated with a City event and requesting payment through Zelle.

Please be cautious if you receive an unexpected email, message or phone call asking you to send money to participate in an event, become a vendor, purchase tickets or make any other payment.

⚠️ Before sending money:
✅ Verify that the communication came from an official City of Yuma source.
✅ We do not collect payment through Zelle, Venmo, Cash App or other person-to-person payment services.
✅ Do not rely solely on the name, logo or information included in an email or social media message.
✅ When in doubt, contact us directly and verify BEFORE you pay.

For Yuma Art Center events, programs or opportunities, please contact us directly if you are unsure whether a request for payment is legitimate.

The Adopt a Sun Program will bring a new public art opportunity to Yuma!

Through the program, individuals, organizations, and businesses will be able to adopt a large fiberglass sun for one year, select a design from an approved artist roster, and help bring original artwork to a location in the community.

Artists ages 18 and older are also invited to submit designs for consideration for the program’s artist roster.

The first artist application deadline is December 11, 2026.
