🏳️‍🌈 We are proud to collaborate with Pride and Parents, Families and Friends of South African Qu**rs for today’s Pride.

Under the theme “Bring Your Father, Uncle, and Brother to Pride”, the campaign encourages fathers, uncles, brothers and male community leaders to stand alongside LGBTQI+ individuals and communities, promoting dialogue, acceptance and support. 🤝

🫂 Through community engagement and conversation, the initiative aims to help challenge harmful norms, strengthen inclusion and support safer communities for all. ✨

: Congratulations 🥳 to German-Swiss Theology Professor 👨‍🎓Thomas Römer for receiving the Conferral of Honorary Doctorate of University of Pretoria last week.

"This project is a tangible example of the partnership between 🇿🇦🫱🏾‍🫲🏽🇩🇪 on climate, energy and conservation. The study shows a way forward for conservation while reducing carbon emissions and strengthening energy security," said Ambassador Peschke today when presenting the Kruger National Park energy feasibility study together with South African National Parks CEO Hapiloe Sello.

The programme is backed by 🇩🇪 Development Bank .

Key objectives of the study:
➡️optimise current and future energy demands
➡️to potentially procure renewables/storage meeting 80% of the parks electricity demand
➡️transition from predominantly fossil fuel utility power

If implemented, the cost-neutral transition will be a win-win. Saving money and enabling one of the planet's premier ecotourism destinations to be environmentally friendly through .

💧 No student should have to worry about whether there will be water at school tomorrow.

Through 🇩🇪's micro-projects scheme, we partnered with Ngudzeni FEA High School in 🇸🇿 to install a solar-powered borehole , water tanks and new fencing at the school.

☀️💧 Previously, the school depended on water deliveries from a neighbouring school, which often led to shortages. The new system now provides a stable and sustainable water supply , improving hygiene, supporting school gardens and strengthening daily school operations 📚.

Around 500 students 👩🏾‍🎓👨🏾‍🎓, as well as members of the neighbouring church community , benefit from the improved infrastructure , demonstrating how small projects can make a big difference in people’s everyday lives. 🌍✨
