As we reflect on an incredible LifeWalk 2026, we want to extend a huge thank you to our Event Partners who generously supported this year's event.

The BBQ is firing, the coffee machine is on, the rain is gone, and we are so excited to walk the beautiful Jetty Foreshore with you this morning ☀️🌊

A quick reminder to make your way to the Registration / Check-In area when you arrive to collect your LifeWalk armband and any pre-purchased tees.

☕ Coffee, bacon & egg rolls, drinks and LifeHouse Care tees will all be available this morning, with proceeds helping support local people doing it tough through the work of LifeHouse Care.

We can't wait to see you tomorrow down at the Jetty foreshore for our 5th annual LifeWalk.

The weather forecast looks fabulous! We can't wait to see the sunshine!

A quick reminder for everyone joining us:
🎟️ Please head to the Registration / Sign-In area when you arrive to collect your LifeWalk armband and pre-purchased tees.

☕ Coffee, breakfast, drinks and LifeHouse Care tees will also be available for purchase on the day, with all proceeds supporting local people doing it tough through the work of LifeHouse Care.

Tomorrow morning, hundreds of people from across our community will gather for LifeWalk 2026 💛

Some will walk with friends.
Some with family.
Some with work teams.
Some simply wanting to support a good cause and enjoy a beautiful morning by the marina.

Together, every step helps provide practical care and support for local people facing hardship, crisis and uncertainty.

For 30 years, LifeHouse Care has had the privilege of walking alongside our community — and tomorrow we get to do that together once again.

Looks like we’ve ordered pretty good walking weather 🌤️💛

Only 2 more sleeps until LifeWalk 2026.

This Saturday morning we’ll be gathering at Jetty Reserve for coffee, breakfast, music, community vibes and a beautiful walk along the North Wall — all while raising support for local people doing it tough.

✔️ Accessible sealed pathway
✔️ Start & finish in the same location
✔️ Families, prams & dogs welcome
✔️ Coffee & bacon & egg rolls from 7am

And if you can’t make the walk itself, you can still support LifeWalk through donations, breakfast purchases or simply sharing the event with friends.

Only 3 more sleeps until LifeWalk 💛

A young mum recently reached out to LifeHouse Care feeling completely overwhelmed.

She had been travelling regularly to a regional hospital for treatment for her child while trying to care for children with additional needs at home. The emotional strain, fuel costs and exhaustion had been building for weeks.

Then, in the middle of it all, someone ran into her parked car and drove away without leaving a note.

When she contacted our team, we were able to provide practical support, connect her with additional services, and make sure dinner was taken care of that night.

Sometimes support looks like food, fuel or financial assistance. Sometimes it’s simply knowing someone is willing to walk alongside you when life gets heavy.

This is what LifeWalk helps make possible 💛

Whether you walk with us on Saturday, donate online or simply share the message — you are helping local people through difficult seasons.

We would love to say a huge welcome 🤗 to the newest member of our team, Cathy!

Cathy is stepping into our Op Shop Leader role, overseeing all six of our LifeHouse Care Op Shop locations. She brings a wealth of retail knowledge and experience, along with a passion for seeing our op shops thrive, and most importantly, seeing our communities flourish!

We want our spaces to always be places full of joy, kindness and compassion and Cathy has these by the bucketful 🪣 ❤️

We couldn’t be more excited to have you with us, Cathy! 💛
