Hi Coffs, Peg here.

Peg “Pageswabber” McTide.

Quick update… Yarrila Arts and Museum still doesn’t know we’ve escaped. I’ve been laying low by the Jetty.

Fishing boats, salty air, seagulls with serious attitude… it’s a whole operation down here. I’m just keeping an eye on things.

If you see me, don’t say anything.

Track down the escaped Mini-figs using the Coffs Coast Explorer App, then head back to YAM to score a prize when you visit 𝑹𝑬𝑳𝑰𝑪𝑺: 𝑨 𝑵𝒆𝒘 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅 𝑹𝒊𝒔𝒆𝒔

Download the app from https://f.mtr.cool/slydhsaaum and play the RELICS game to collect them all!

✋If you feel like doing something a bit different with your weekend, this one is hands-on in the best way.

🍕 The Wood-Fired Pizza and Mozzarella Class with Artisan Cheese & Cooking School is all about getting involved from the start. You will learn how to stretch and shape fresh mozzarella, then use it to top your own wood-fired pizzas, cooked on the spot and shared straight from the oven.

🧀Classes are run by Lyndall, a nationally recognised cheesemaker, and are designed to be relaxed, social and easy to follow, whether you are a confident cook or just giving it a go.

👥It is less about perfect technique and more about good food, good company and enjoying the process.

😍 You walk away with new skills, but more importantly, a really good way to spend an afternoon.

ℹ️ Book your spot in the next class on Friday 5 June at https://f.mtr.cool/ehggogakrh

🫶 There is something about the Coffs Coast landscape that stays with you. The marina and Jetty area is a big part of that.

🚤 Boats moving in and out, the breakwall stretching into the ocean, Muttonbird Island just offshore and the coastline opening up in both directions. It is one of those places where everything comes together.

✅ This natural setting is a big reason the Coffs Coast became NSW’s first ECO Destination, recognised for protecting what makes the region so unique while still making it easy to experience.

😍 It is a place people come back to, not just for the view, but for how it feels to be there.

🌎 Explore a small Dutch village without leaving the Coffs Coast.

😍 The Clog Barn Miniature Village is a detailed, handcrafted scene filled with winding canals, traditional houses, working windmills and a miniature railway that brings it all to life. Once you start looking closely, you notice just how much is happening in each tiny corner.

🚶‍♀️ It is easy to wander through at your own pace, take photos and pick out the little moments built into the village. Being free to explore makes it a simple stop, whether you are passing through or adding something different to the day.

🍵 Pair it with a visit to Big Oma’s Coffee House or catch a clog making demonstration, and it becomes more than just a quick look around.

Hi Coffs, I’m Flip.

Flip ‘Grillmaster’ Frye.

Quick update… Yarrila Arts and Museum still doesn’t know we’ve escaped.

I followed the smell of food straight into Coffs Central and I’m not leaving anytime soon. Coffee, snacks, something sweet, something savoury… it’s all happening.

This place is dangerous. In the best way.

While I’m here “laying low”, my RELICS mates are out exploring too.

Think you can find us all? Mini-figs using the 𝐂𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐩𝐩, then head back to YAM to score a prize when you visit 𝑹𝑬𝑳𝑰𝑪𝑺: 𝑨 𝑵𝒆𝒘 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅 𝑹𝒊𝒔𝒆𝒔.

If you spot me… I’ll probably be mid-bite.

🐋Whale watching season is about to begin on the Coffs Coast, and it is one of those times of year that feels a bit different.

🐳 From May through to November, thousands of humpback whales pass close to the coastline as they migrate north, often breaching, tail slapping and travelling with calves on their return journey.

🌄 You can spot them from headlands, but getting out on the water changes the experience completely.

🚤Operators like Jetty Dive and Whale Watch Experience Coffs Harbour run regular tours through the season, giving you a closer look at the migration as it moves along the coast.

🐢Today the Coffs Coast celebrates World Turtle Day where at Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary , a huge amount of work happens behind the scenes to give injured turtles a second chance.

⛑️ Each year, the team responds to rescues along the coastline, caring for turtles affected by fishing line, plastic pollution and boat strikes.

😷Some arrive weak or injured and require months of treatment, monitoring and rehabilitation before they are ready to return to the ocean.

💚 It is careful, hands-on work that does not happen without support. Every rescue, every recovery and every release is made possible by a mix of expert care and community backing.

💵 That is where you can be part of it. The sanctuary’s Adopt a Turtle program helps fund food, medical treatment and ongoing care for turtles in rehabilitation. It is a simple way to contribute to something meaningful and support the journey from rescue to release.

🌊 Today is a good reminder of what lives just off our coastline, and what it takes to protect it.
