A GREAT DAY OUT ON THE BINGO BUNGLE BUS 🚌
Our Bingo Bungle Bus is officially the talk of the town!

Our Warrumbungle Community Care Community Transport group recently headed to Dubbo for a fantastic day at Club Dubbo, with plenty of bingo, fabulous prizes and, of course, lots of laughs along the way.

It was a great chance to get out and about, enjoy some good company, meet new people and have a whole lot of fun.

Did you know you don’t have to be a Warrumbungle Community Care client to use Community Transport?

Our Community Transport services are available to the general public, helping people get out and about, attend events and social activities, and stay connected with the community.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made the day such a success. We think it’s safe to say the Bingo Bungle Bus crew had a brilliant day!

CELEBRATING SEVEN YEARS OF VOLUNTEER SERVICE
This month, Warrumbungle Community Care recognised one of our wonderful Community Transport volunteers, Dick Gardiner, and thanked him for an incredible seven years of dedicated service.

Dick has been a familiar and friendly face to so many in the Coolah community, generously giving his time to transport clients to medical appointments, shopping trips and social outings. More than just a driver, he has provided companionship, kindness and a welcoming smile along the way, making a real difference in the lives of those he has supported.

A special morning tea was held on 17 July to celebrate Dick's outstanding contribution and wish him all the very best for the future. It was wonderful to celebrate alongside fellow volunteers Marianne, Neil, Leonie and Carol, with Taylor organising the lovely morning tea.

Dick, thank you for your commitment, generosity and the care you have shown our clients and community over the past seven years. Your contribution has been truly appreciated, and you will be greatly missed.

Volunteers like Dick play a vital role in helping Warrumbungle Community Care support people to stay connected with their community. Thank you to all of our amazing volunteers for the difference you make every day.

πŸ’™ Enjoy your well-earned retirement, Dick!

🚌 MUDGEE BUS TRIPS - A HUGE SUCCESS! πŸ›οΈ
We are thrilled to hear so much positive feedback from our Mudgee shopping and social bus trips.

Our most recent trip saw passengers travel from Coonabarabran through Coolah and on to Mudgee for a relaxing day of shopping, exploring and catching up with friends.

One lovely passenger even rang us the next day to say she had "the best day yesterday".

She shared how wonderful it was to enjoy a day out without the pressure of rushing between medical appointments, as she often does when travelling to Dubbo. Instead, she was able to take her time, browse the shops, enjoy the atmosphere and simply relax.

Another passenger described the Mudgee bus trip as "the best invention out" and is already looking forward to the next outing. In fact, her husband was disappointed he missed out and has already booked a seat on the next trip!

These trips are about so much more than getting from A to B. They're an opportunity to catch up with friends, meet new people, enjoy a change of scenery and spend a relaxing day doing something different.
