πŸ’™ Thank You, Dunedoo! πŸ’™

A huge thank you to everyone who attended the Seniors Information Session at Dunedoo Library on 28 May.

It was wonderful to see such a strong turnout, with community members taking the opportunity to connect with service providers, ask questions and gather valuable information to support their health, wellbeing and independence.

Representatives from Warrumbungle Community Care, Services Australia, the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing, Open Mobility and IHCA Physio were all on hand throughout the day, and every provider was thrilled with the level of community engagement and the positive conversations that took place.

Events like these are a great way to bring services and community members together, ensuring people have access to the information and support they need.

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the day such a success. We hope you found the session informative, helpful and worthwhile.

πŸ’™ Celebrating Our Volunteers
Warrumbungle Community Care recently celebrated the incredible contribution of its dedicated volunteers with an appreciation lunch at the Exchange Hotel in Binnaway.

Volunteers travelled from across the region, including Coonabarabran and Coolah, to come together for the special occasion. Mayor Kathy Rindfleish delivered a warm and heartfelt welcome, thanking volunteers for the care, kindness and support they provide to the community every day.

A highlight of the celebration was the cutting of the commemorative cake by long-standing volunteers Neville Wilkin and Marianne Jory, recognising their many years of commitment and service.

Volunteers were also presented with gifts of appreciation in recognition of their invaluable contribution to Warrumbungle Community Care and the wider community.

The event was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the spirit of volunteering, friendship and community connection that makes the Warrumbungle region so special.

πŸš— WARRUMBUNGLE CHINWAG & CHILL CREW ENJOY DAY TRIP TO COONAMBLE πŸš—
Our Warrumbungle Chinwag & Chill Crew recently enjoyed a fantastic social outing to Coonamble as part of our Individual Social Support program.

The group explored the Outback Arts Gallery, including a wonderful exhibition by Aunty Lorraine Tye, browsed locally made goodies, enjoyed lunch at the Coonamble Bowling Club and stopped in for a fun photo with the iconic emus.

For some of our clients, it had been years since they had visited Coonamble, making the trip extra special.

These outings are all about friendship, social connection, confidence building and having a good laugh along the way πŸ’›
