CORRECT BIN PLACEMENT MATTERS
Placing your bins correctly helps ensure waste and recycling collections can be completed safely and efficiently.

To help our collection trucks access your bins easily:
- Put your bins out the night before your scheduled collection
- Place bins at least 1 metre apart
- Position bins on the edge of the gutter or roadway
- Make sure the lid opening faces the road

Correct bin placement helps prevent bins being missed or knocked over during collection.

💧 BARADINE WATER TREATMENT PLANT UPDATE
Planning is progressing for a new Water Treatment Plant in Baradine, with Council completing the concept design and technical specifications for the project.

While the existing plant continues to provide safe and reliable water to the community, it is approaching the end of its operational life. The new plant will use modern technology and upgraded infrastructure to improve reliability, resilience, monitoring and overall performance.

Work is also nearing completion on a new backup bore for the town, providing an additional water source and improving the security of Baradine's groundwater supply.

These improvements will help ensure Baradine's water infrastructure continues to meet the community's needs into the future.

The project is partially funded by the NSW Government through the Safe and Secure Water Program and delivered by Warrumbungle Shire Council.
