What’s your reason for loving the Territory between September and April? 🌴🎣✨

Maybe it’s the waterfalls and waterholes, dramatic skies, world-class fishing, local events, outdoor adventures or having fewer crowds around.

From 1 September, Territorians can share in 25 words or less what makes this time of year special and help show the rest of Australia why it’s the Territory’s Best Kept Season.

Share your reason and you’ll also go in the running to win one of two $2,500 travel vouchers - one to explore the Top End and one to explore the Red Centre - giving you even more reasons to discover your own backyard.

Entries close 18 October 2026.
