We’re so proud of our Kindergarten students and the wonderful effort they show every day during InitiaLit! 🎉 This research-based program focuses on building strong foundations in reading and writing, through activities in phonics, oral language, and early literacy. Our students are growing in confidence, actively participating, and showing fantastic progress in response to the personalised learning students receive at FCPS. Well done, Kindergarten!

Book Week is just around the corner! Students are invited to come dressed as their favourite book character for our Book Week Parade on Tuesday 1 September.

Our Year 5/6 students joined the eSafety Commissioner’s Virtual Classroom webinar to explore stereotypes, peer pressure and positive online relationships.
Students learnt how to:
🔹 recognise stereotypes and peer pressure behaviours
🔹 use help-seeking strategies when navigating friendship situations online
🔹 identify trusted people and support pathways

This valuable learning supported students to build their digital literacy, critical thinking and personal and social capabilities—helping create safer, kinder online communities. 🛡️💙
