🚒Exciting things are happening for the Tasmanian Firefighter State Championships! 🚒
On Saturday, members of the committee visited our new home at the Agfest site and officially kicked off the planning process for future competitions.
The day was spent exploring the incredible facilities available to us, including the industrial kitchen, function room, bar facilities, shower blocks, toilets, and the extensive camping areas that will help make the event even more enjoyable for competitors and supporters alike.
We also began discussions around the infrastructure and site development required to ensure the smooth and successful running of future championships. The possibilities this venue offers are truly exciting, and we are already looking at ways we can grow the competition into an even bigger and better event for everyone involved.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended and contributed their ideas and expertise. There is plenty of work ahead, but we’re excited about what the future holds for the State Championships at our new location.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the Quercus Park Committee and Rural Youth Tasmania for their support and enthusiasm as we begin this exciting new chapter. We look forward to continuing to foster a strong and positive working relationship and working together to create an outstanding event for competitors, volunteers, and visitors for many years to come.
