Looking out for each other makes all the difference on our roads.

When you’re driving, remember to give way to buses:
• when they’re stopped or moving slowly at the side of the road or a stop
• when the ‘Give Way to Buses’ sign is displayed
• when they indicate right
• when they’re merging back into traffic

A small moment of awareness can help keep everyone safe and traffic moving smoothly.

National Road Safety Week - Bus Safety Tip 🎗🚌

Keeping your distance matters, especially around buses.

Try to leave at least a four-second gap when driving behind a bus. This gives you time to react if traffic changes suddenly.

Because buses are heavier, they need more time and space to slow down and stop.
Giving that extra space helps keep passengers, drivers, and other road users safe.

A little space goes a long way. 🚍🚧
