🚗💨 EDENHOPE Travel Talks: Let’s Go on the Sh!tbox Rally! 💨🚗

Join Edenhope Library and the Good Ole Boys Car & Bike Club for a special Travel Talks event at 6:30pm ahead of the club’s September meeting at the Edenhope & District Community Centre this coming Wednesday.

Hear from guest speaker Darren Ferluga, who recently completed the Sh!tbox Rally Winter 2026 with his cousin Cory, raising an incredible $13,000+ for Cancer Council. Darren will share stories from the road, the challenges of driving a $1,500 car across some of Australia’s toughest terrain, and the rewarding experience of fundraising for a cause that touches so many lives.

❤️ Sh!tbox Rally is a nationwide charity adventure where participants drive cars worth no more than $1,500 across Australia via remote and challenging routes. While the journey is full of fun, friendship and unforgettable experiences, its main purpose is to raise vital funds and awareness for Cancer Council and support those affected by cancer.

Join Edenhope resident and keen naturalist Jessica Sambell as she shares insights into the beautiful and diverse orchids of the Little Desert and Wimmera region.

Through years of observing, photographing and learning about native terrestrial orchids, Jessica has developed a deep appreciation for these fascinating plants and the landscapes they call home.

As spring wildflower season begins, come along to learn more about the natural treasures growing in our own backyard.

We have recently added the First Nations Classics to our collection at Horsham Library. This series is an initiative celebrating foundational Indigenous Australian literature. It brings timeless novels, memoirs, poetry, and short stories back into print with new introductions written by prominent contemporary First Nations Writers.
