We'll also be holding an amazing free event on Wednesday 17th June where everyone has the opportunity to attend a parent information session by Sandi Phoenix who has a wealth of experience and knowledge to share about child behaviour plus morning tea and a play.

A huge thank you to everyone that came to celebrate with us last week at our Coolalinga branch and Variety - the Children’s Charity NT for their incredible generosity! 💛

Thanks to their support, we now have brand new soft play sets available to borrow from BOTH of our toy library branches.

Designed with little ones in mind including children who benefit from extra support with movement and gross motor skills, these beautiful foam play pieces encourage active, safe and inclusive play.

We are so grateful to be able to make these resources accessible to more families in our community. 🌟

🎉 It's happening TODAY! Join us this morning for our very first Thursday Stay & Play session - 9:30 to 10:30am during toy library opening hours!

Pop in for a play, have a chat with the speech therapist from Oodles Therapy, connect with other families, and grab some wonderful toys to take home and keep the fun going.

We'd love to see you there! 💛

Come along to our free stay and play sessions next week at the toy library!

On Thursday we'll be running an extra stay and play session with a speech therapist from Oodles and a fun range of toys and activities set up for the kids to explore.

For the first time during our play sessions the toy library will also be open for toy borrowing. Pop in to have a play, and borrow fresh toys to continue the play at home 😊

✨ It’s Families Week! ✨

Families Week is Australia’s biggest celebration of families. It’s a time to recognise the vital role families play in our lives and our community. Led by Families Australia, Families Week runs each May to align with the United Nations International Day of Families on 15 May.

The theme, Every Family, Everywhere, is about celebrating families – in all their forms, cultures, structures and experiences – and embracing activities that bring us together.

The Australian Government Department of Social Services shared Mimi’s story from our Katherine branch. Thanks to the new branch, Mimi’s three children now have access to affordable toys, play opportunities and a welcoming space to connect with other families.
