Hello Katherine community 👋

We are planning our next block of swim school intensives at the Katherine Aquatic Centre! 🏊

Intensives are the most effective way to build water confidence quickly. Instead of spreading progress across weeks, consistent daily practice helps unlock new skills 💪

We are finalizing the schedule and looking to open two specific programs that will likely run Mon-Fri on June 29th - July 3rd.

✅ Infant & Toddler Intensives (6 months to 3 years)

⏰ Time: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Focus: Water familiarization, early survival skills, and building comfort in the water.

✅ Adult Intensives (All skill levels)

⏰ Time: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Focus: Stroke correction, breathing mechanics, and overcoming water hesitation.

We need to confirm numbers before we assign instructors and lock in pool space.

🚨KAC UPDATE🚨

Please be advised that we are experiencing heating issues in the 25m Pool and the water may be a little colder than usual.

We are currently working with council to have this issue fixed as soon as possible.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Katherine Aquatic Centre will be closing at 3:30pm to public today due to unforeseen circumstances. All Learn to Swim lessons will still be taking place and will not be cancelled.
