Victoria Daly Regional Council is seeking Expressions of Interest for a range of employment opportunities in Nauiyu.

These roles provide an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the community while supporting the delivery of important local services.

Australia Post delivery is currently scheduled for Tuesday 16 June.

Council will continue to liaise with Australia Post and provide updates to the community should there be any changes to the delivery schedule.

Expressions of Interest are now open for an Independent Chairperson and Independent Member to join Victoria Daly Regional Council's Audit and Risk Management Committee.

Council is seeking suitably qualified individuals with experience in governance, finance, audit, risk management or related fields to help strengthen accountability, oversight and good governance across the Victoria Daly region.

The Audit and Risk Management Committee meets approximately four times per year, with remuneration provided in accordance with Council policy.

Whether you have lots of ideas or just want to learn more about the project, we'd love to see you there. Your feedback will help shape the future of the facility and the services it supports.

Victoria Daly Regional Council is inviting community members, local organisations and stakeholders to come together and provide input into the proposed new Council Services Hub in Kalkarindji.

This is an opportunity to hear more about the project, ask questions and share what matters most to you when it comes to local services, accessibility, support and how the space could best support community needs.

Phase 1 of the project is focused on early planning and gathering community feedback to help inform the future direction of a flood-resilient, multi-service facility for Kalkarindji and Daguragu.

🚛 First collection run complete.

Today, Council's new rubbish truck completed its maiden waste collection run in Daly River / Nauiyu, with Council Operations Leading Hand Brett and Council Operations Officer Eric leading the way.

As the community continues its recovery, the return of waste collection marks an important step in restoring local services and supporting residents returning home.

Thank you to Brett, Eric and the entire Council Operations team for their hard work and commitment to getting this essential service back on the road.
