🌟 Tasmania’s First HALT Summit – Planning Underway! 🌟

Certified Highly Accomplished and Lead Teachers (HALTs) from Tasmania’s Government, Catholic and Independent sectors recently came together to help shape Tasmania’s first-ever HALT Summit.

The Summit will provide an exciting opportunity for HALTs across the state to connect, collaborate, share exemplary practice, and celebrate the impact of accomplished teaching and leadership on student learning and educational outcomes.

This NAIDOC Week, we celebrate the rich cultures, achievements, and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The 2026 theme, "50 Years of Deadly", celebrates the people and communities who have strengthened culture, led change, and inspired generations.

The TRB is seeking dedicated professionals to become Highly Accomplished and Lead Teacher (HALT) Certified Colleagues. As a HALT Certified Colleague, you will:
✅ Contribute to a national certification process
✅ Provide evidence-based feedback
✅ Connect with expert educators
🔎 Essential Criteria:
• Senior leadership experience
• Full teacher registration
• Experience and Knowledge of the APST standards
📅 Successful applicants will attend a one-day training workshop (dates to be confirmed).
