At today’s AGM we congratulated the achievement of Alan “Woody” Dale for his continued service of 50 years to our Brigade by presenting him with Life Membership.
We also presented an Honorary Membership award to Alan “ Yowie” Selman for his time as our Group Officer.
And lastly, Lue have been presented with a New Isuzu 7 unit - Lue/ Havilah 7.

𝐄𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐡 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐝

The Bush Fire Danger Period across the Mid-Western Regional Council LGA ended at midnight last night.

While landholders no longer require a fire permit, you are still required to notify the and your neighbours at least 24 hours before lighting a fire. To notify the RFS, please complete the online form available on our website: www.rfs.nsw.gov.au/notify

Please note that in some areas, you may still need an environmental permit from your local council or permit from Fire and Rescue NSW. You must also be aware of restrictions on the size and materials permitted in burn piles.
