NEW STATEWIDE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION PLAN

The NSW Government has introduced a new statewide Community Participation Plan, which came into effect this week (1 September 2026) and changes how some planning and development matters are notified and publicly exhibited across the Mid-Western Region.

The statewide Plan standardises the notification and public exhibition of planning and development matters and introduces consistent consultation requirements and exhibition timeframes across NSW.

🚜🚜 Heritage Tractor Convoy 🚜🚜

A Heritage Tractor Convoy will travel on rural roads around Gulgong on Friday, 4 and Saturday, 5 September.

Up to 40 tractors, travelling in two groups at approximately 20km/h, may cause delays. Drivers are asked to take care when approaching or overtaking the convoy.
