🐐 No kiddin' around here! 🐐

Around six months ago, Wollumbin High School welcomed three miniature goats to our school farm – Rodney, Lenny and Edward – and they have quickly become valued members of our school community.

βœ‚ Our Agriculture and Science students are getting hands-on experience with practical goat care, learning how to inspect and trim hooves, identify issues such as overgrowth and uneven wear, and check the goats' weight to help monitor their health and wellbeing.

These valuable skills help keep our goats healthy, happy and ready to keep the school farm running smoothly.

πŸ™ŒWe think the students did a baa-rilliant job!

πŸŽ¨πŸ‰ A Special Opportunity for Jess! πŸ‰πŸŽ¨

Jess recently had the incredible honour of painting a pair of football boots for Shalom Sauaso from the Brisbane Broncos NRLW squad.

The artwork tells a powerful story. The paths and footprints represent travelling between places and the journey it takes to play NRLW. The women’s symbols pay tribute to the Beyond the Broncos Girls Academy and the women’s team, while the meeting places symbolise different groups and cultures coming together to celebrate sport and Indigenous Round.

Shalom was named NRLW Rookie of the Year in 2025 and has proudly represented Samoa in the Pacific Championships, making this an extra special project for Jess.

We are so proud of Jess for sharing her creativity, culture and storytelling through this beautiful artwork. Well done, Jess! πŸ’™πŸ’›β€οΈπŸ–€
