Our annual Pre-Cyclone Clean-Up is back, with collections kicking off on ๐Œ๐จ๐ง๐๐š๐ฒ, ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ ๐’๐ž๐ฉ๐ญ๐ž๐ฆ๐›๐ž๐ซ!

Itโ€™s time to have a look around your yard and plan your clear-out to help get your home ready for the wet season. ๐ŸŒฟ

Collections will take place across 4 zones.

Check your collection date and make sure to mark the calendar so you donโ€™t miss out.

๐Ÿ“Œ Please place items on your verge the weekend before your zoneโ€™s collection date, not earlier.

Need help placing items on the verge? Residents with mobility limitations can contact us to arrange assistance (at least one weekโ€™s notice is required).

Last week, our team dropped into Driver Secondary School to talk to students about what theyโ€™d like to see at Widdup Park and now we want to hear from the wider community.

We are planning improvements to Widdup Park, with a focus on creating a more active, welcoming space for local residents and young people.

Heading to City of Palmerston Library or Palmerston Recreation Centre? Weโ€™ve made a few improvements along the way! ๐Ÿ’™

Weโ€™ve upgraded the pedestrian crossings between the Rec Centre and Library, and at the nearby intersection of The Boulevard and Palmerston Circuit.

The works include new signs and replacement tactile ground surface indicators (raised markers to help people with vision impairment navigate crossings). ๐Ÿฆฎ

These upgrades help make getting around Palmerston safer and more accessible for everyone.
