The school administrators regularly monitor the site and will remove comments that do not adhere to our rule of engagement. We reserve the right to remove comments that are racist, sexist, abusive, profane, violent, obscene, spam, that advocate illegal activity, contain falsehoods or are wildly off-topic, or that libel, incite, threaten or make ad hominem attacks on Thurgoona Public School students, employees, guests or other individuals. Comments are also subject to Facebook's Terms of Use and Code of Conduct. Remember, your name and photo will be seen next to your comment, visible to all visitors to the page. We will not permit messages selling products or promoting commercial, political or other ventures. Facebook encourages all users to use the "Report" links when they find abusive content. STUDENTS
Facebook Terms and Conditions state no one under the age of 13 years should have a Facebook profile. Therefore, any comments or page fans from primary students on the Thurgoona Public School page will be removed and, if warranted, users will be reported. TAGGING OR NAMING STUDENTS
Photos of students can only be published if the correct Department of Education permission to publish forms have been completed by the student’s parent or guardian. For privacy and protection, please do not tag photos of children, and please do not name them in your comments, unless the previously mentioned permissions is sought. Tagging of parents or friends within the comment box is permitted with the understanding that all other rules of engagement are followed.

🏃‍♀️👟Grace Wilson, Alary Brain, Eli Klinberg and Levi Milosta competed at the Riverina PSSA Cross Country Carnival in Gundagai today.
We hope they enjoyed the experience and we can't wait to hear the results!

🌟 Check out MC Correa demonstrating our current PBL focus: Before & After School! 🌟

These wonderful students are demonstrating how to be safe and respectful before and after school by:

✅ Going straight to the correct area when they arrive at school
✅ Sitting quietly on the quad steps at 8:30am
✅ Walking bikes, scooters, and skateboards within the school grounds
✅ Using the school crossing safely
✅ Waiting patiently in the bus lines and pick-up zone after school.

We hope that everyone enjoyed the long weekend and the beautiful sunshine🌞Have a wonderful week 8!

🚦 PBL Focus: Before & After School 🚦

This upcoming fortnight, students will be focusing on the expectations for before and after school.
Teachers are looking for students who:

✅ Arrive at school and go straight to the correct area
✅ Sit quietly on the quad steps at 8:30am
✅ Walk bikes, scooters, and skateboards within the school grounds
✅ Use the school crossing safely
✅ Line up appropriately for buses and the pick-up zone after school
✅ Follow teacher instructions and wait patiently for their turn at the pick up zone and bus stop.

By following these expectations, students help create a safe and organised environment for everyone in our school community. 💛💙💚

Matilda Wilson has been playing in the Riverina PSSA Team at the Primary Girls Rugby League Championships in Cronulla 🏈
Today, the students in 5 Indigo livestreamed Matilda's last game and watched it in class.
