Facebook Terms and Conditions state no one under the age of 13 years should have a Facebook profile. Therefore, any comments or page fans from primary students on the Thurgoona Public School page will be removed and, if warranted, users will be reported. TAGGING OR NAMING STUDENTS
Photos of students can only be published if the correct Department of Education permission to publish forms have been completed by the student’s parent or guardian. For privacy and protection, please do not tag photos of children, and please do not name them in your comments, unless the previously mentioned permissions is sought. Tagging of parents or friends within the comment box is permitted with the understanding that all other rules of engagement are followed.

🛎️ PBL Focus: Stop, Pack Up & Go! 🛎️

This coming fortnight, students at TPS will be revisiting our playground expectations and what to do when the bell rings.

Teachers are looking for students who:
✅ Stop playing as soon as the bell rings
✅ Pack Up playground and sports equipment
✅ Go straight to their class lines
✅ Walk safely and promptly to the correct area

Following our Stop, Pack Up & Go routine helps keep our playground organised and ensures everyone is ready to get back to learning quickly. 💛💙💚

🧳We’ve just wrapped up an incredible visit to the Bonegilla Migrant Experience and are now back on the road, heading towards Beechworth!
Our Year 3 historians have been completely engrossed.
Did you know that more than 300,000 migrants passed through Bonegilla between 1947 and 1971? 🧱Students explored the original buildings, heard stories of families who began new lives here and discovered just how different life was for migrant families arriving in a brand-new country.
🙋We’ve been asking questions, making connections and stepping back in time, with plenty of “Wow, I didn’t know that!” moments along the way!
👍So far we are having a fantastic day of learning outside of the classroom, exploring and making memories together!
