๐ง $40.1 million in funding secured for the Capricorn Coast
Two major infrastructure projects in Taroomball and Hidden Valley have been successful in the Queensland Government's Residential Activation Fund (RAF) Round 2.
The funding will support the delivery of critical road, water, sewer and stormwater infrastructure needed to support the Capricorn Coast's growing communities.
Key projects include:
โ
$15.5 million for Chandler Road West in Taroomball, creating a new connection between Tanby Road and Carige Boulevard, including a flood-capable Ross Creek crossing and a new signalised intersection at Tanby Road.
โ
$24.6 million for The Pines at Hidden Valley, delivering connector roads, trunk water and sewer mains, a sewer pump station, stormwater infrastructure and associated utility services.
As our region continues to grow, infrastructure like this helps ensure our road network, essential services and housing supply can keep pace with community needs.
The Chandler Road West project will improve connectivity and integrate with the future East West Connector, supporting a smarter and more connected transport network for the Capricorn Coast.
Watch the video to hear from Member for Keppel Nigel Hutton MP, Mayor Adam Belot and Cr Lance Warcon about what this investment means for our community.
๐ Thank you to the Queensland Government for its investment in critical infrastructure for the Capricorn Coast.
