H.E. Shanika Dissanayake, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Bahrain met with H.E. Ahmed bin Salman Almusalam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The meeting focused on further strengthening the longstanding Sri Lanka–Bahrain relations, with emphasis on parliamentary cooperation, tourism, economic engagement and people-to-people exchanges.

Notice for Foreign Engineering Practitioners

The Department of Immigration and Emigration of Sri Lanka has conveyed that Foreign Engineering Practitioners intending to submit visa applications are required to obtain registration with the Engineering Council, Sri Lanka (ECSL) prior to submitting their visa applications, in accordance with the regulations stipulated under the Engineering Council of Sri Lanka Act.

Accordingly, prospective Foreign Engineering Practitioners are advised to complete the ECSL registration process before submitting their visa applications.
